As Alkebu-Lan [“African”] people we are primarily consumers and not producers. Our economic power has been severely stunted by imperialist aggression and violence. We must say no more! It is time for us to focus on Ujamaa [“Cooperative Economics”] and learn what it takes to be a powerful force.
