Introduction to the African Worldview

It’s fine to learn the history of others, but you must know your own self first. If a people loses their historical memory, they become very fragile people.

Cheikh Anta Diop

Introduction to the African Worldview informs us, especially we of African ancestry, to love ourselves and to practice our globally shared narrative of Connectedness.

This four-part course is based on authentic African history, researched and documented by African scholars. We show the evidence that makes it clear that the origin of man and the mother of civilization is in Africa.

This course follows early African man beginning at his birthplace, in the womb of the continent, through his journey to become the first ocean navigator and global explorer.
